CHTP, HTI, RMT

Krista Hall has 30
years of nursing in
maternal-child,
elder / long term
care, orthopedics,
and med-surgical
areas. Krista
brings many rich and
varied experiences
to the table with
the energy-based
concepts of Healing
Touch and Reiki. In
the early 1990’s,
she began her study
of the importance of
human touch with the
study of newborn and
infant massage,
becoming certified
and teaching many
families the
techniques and
benefits of infant
massage. Her
interest then
broadened to the
study of the energy
bio-field therapies
of Healing Touch and
Reiki to enhance her
nursing practice.
Krista became a
Certified Healing
Touch Practitioner
in 2002. She is
co-coordinator of
the Energy Therapies
program at Frederick
Memorial Healthcare
System in Frederick,
MD, which provides
Healing Touch and
Reiki to patients at
the Regional Cancer
Therapy Center and
the hospital on the
Oncology unit. She
is a member of
Healing Touch
International. She
is currently in the
training process to
become a Certified
Healing Touch
Instructor. Krista
maintains a private
practice of Healing
Touch and Reiki
where she brings
holistic nursing and
energy based
concepts and
education to
patients.
These therapies can
be used as self-care
to reduce stress and
anxiety, promote
focus and attention,
and complement other
healthy lifestyle
strategies.
